Only a minority of science graduates work in STEM jobs

A new study from Leicester and Warwick universities, and funded by the Nuffield Foundation, has debunked the argument that there is a shortage of science graduates.

Instead, the study finds that the majority of science graduates choose not to – or are unable to - work in highly skilled science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) occupations at any time in their careers.

New microsite for GCSE and A Level results day analysis

With A level results coming out tomorrow, a microsite has been launched to help explore trends in national A level, AS level and GCSE entry and results data from 2014 to 2018. The microsite has been created by FFT Education Datalab with funding from the Nuffield Foundation.

New £12.5m funding opportunity for research into musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions

The Nuffield Foundation has announced a new funding opportunity for research into musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions through the Oliver Bird Fund. First established in 1948, the Oliver Bird Fund was bequeathed by Captain Oliver Bird to specifically invest in rheumatic disease research.
