Revised Guide for applicants

29 June 2015

We have published a revised Guide for applicants to our research and innovation grants programmes.

Our research and innovation grant programmes are designed to improve policy and practice in key areas of social policy.

This year we have launched three new programmes, setting out more detailed criteria in our substantive areas of interest, and the revised Guide for applicants reflects these updated priorities.

It provides more information about the types of projects we want to fund, including key methodological considerations.

In addition, we have used feedback from applicants to provide clearer and more comprehensive information about our application process.

Our three new programmes are Early Years Education and Childcare, Economic Advantage and Disadvantage, and Finances of Ageing.

We also have programmes in Children and Families, Education, Law in Society, and an Open Door programme for projects that lie outside these programme areas.

Information about the specific criteria for each programme and how to apply for a grant can be found in the apply for funding section of our website.
