Early childhood: what needs to change?

By Nuffield Foundation

This conference explored the most significant changes and challenges facing families with young children today. It marked the culmination of the Nuffield Foundation’s Changing face of early childhood series, which brings together the research evidence on early childhood in the UK and presents recommendations for policy and practice, as well as priorities for research.

We were joined by policy makers, researchers and practitioners to explore the questions and recommendations posed by the Changing face of early childhood series, the final report of which was published on 12 July 2022. Our aim was to build momentum for change and improvement in the services and support offered to children and parents.
