The Food Foundation is launching their new Nuffield-funded report, Broken Plate. Each year they track progress against 10 metrics that illustrate the health of our food system. These statistics are widely quoted, and make the case for bold action.
This year’s report is their third annual Broken Plate report. In it the Food Foundation demonstrates that the food environment is skewed towards less healthy options, and that healthier foods are much less accessible and affordable for those on lower incomes. It powerfully shows why we must change the food environment so that it delivers healthy and sustainable diets for everyone.
Join the Food Foundation for their webinar to find out more about the findings and their implications for future policy.
