The National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER) is leading a large-scale research programme to identify the essential employment skills people will need for work by 2035, funded by the Nuffield Foundation. We are formally launching the programme together with the second in a series of research papers, which will focus on how the scale and composition of the labour market is forecast to change by 2035, and the implications of these changes for the economy and for society.
The hybrid event will be held at the Nuffield Foundation in Central London, followed by a networking reception, as well as an option to watch and interact live online. We will be discussing how to ensure that the labour market is equipped with the required skills needed for the future and to provide a valuable networking opportunity.
We will be announcing more speakers in the coming weeks, so please keep an eye out on our websites for any updates. Full details of The Skills Imperative 2035 research programme can be found here.
Please note: registration closes on Friday 7 October 2022.
